Well you missed one major reference in Zero 1, Copy X's armor when he prepares to fight, actually it's a double reference as its many visual features suggest it's Ultimate armor updated to be compatible with the new era reploid body of X but color wise it seems to be referencing X's old armors (i personally thought mostly armor from X1) Another one I think might be the case but would need someone more experienced with music to check it I think "Falling Down" (final boss music from Zero 4) might have some of Zero's X2 theme light motive woven into it

I like to see the reference to Iris’ last words as having merit within the story, as while Elpizo was sort of just ranting, as crazy villains do, the words “A world just for Reploids” hold some emotional weight to Zero, and probably stirred a memory or two. This is just my headcanon, though.

for the Argument of Goku visiting while dead. he was only allowed 24 hours. EVER. also there's a rule about the dead not being allowed to technically interact with the world of the living. even if that gets broken quite a few times. so him visiting for the world tournament was the best choice since that's a thing most of the group would come together for. basically once those 24 hours were up he would not be allowed back to the world of the living. which is why Old Kai revived him. so he could come back to help against Buu. he needed to be alive to come back. otherwise he would have just gone back while dead. this rule is also why outside of that Filler arc of the end of the DB anime. we never saw Grandpa Gohan again. since his one day back on earth was used up. despite the series lack of perma death. there's still rules in place.
